SuperSonic #3: Two Sides

Helen Svoboda presents ‘Sprout’. The trio was formed to explore a new direction of composition, influenced largely by minimalist music infused with moments of structured improvisation. “.. it slips and slides like the Fugs without the funny. Feverishly light-hearted & simply commanded by some fraternal groove. Bespoke. Unuttered. Sinking in the same thinking of Henry Flynt’s hillbilly avant-garde. No pretension. A true ballad of the lights.”
– Josh Watson (4ZZZ, tips for teens)
